APTLD Members’ Meeting Held in Hong Kong

Hosted by Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC), the Asia Pacific Top Level Domain Association (APTLD) Members’ Meeting Hong Kong was held on 17-18 February, 2011, at Regus Hong Kong, 35/F Central Plaza, Wanchai, Hong Kong. Mr. Stephen Mak, JP, Government Chief Information Officer of the Hong Kong SAR and Mr. John Estmond Strickland, GBS, JP, Chairman of HKIRC were guests of honour at the opening ceremony. Mr. Keith Davidson, APTLD Chair, gave a welcome speech at the event. Around 80 representatives from 21 ccTLDs and 16 other organisations met to exchange ideas on issues related to marketing, organisational framework and registration policies, security, and organisational updates and foster participation of the Asia Pacific ccTLDs in the global forum.

APTLD is an organisation for country-code Top Level Domain (ccTLD) registries in the Asia Pacific region. The APTLD Members’ Meeting is hosted by HKIRC this year.
