Ms Cari Wu is currently the Deputy Commissioner for Digital Policy (Digital Infrastructure) of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. She supports the formulation of policies and strategic initiatives that drive the development of digital government and smart city in Hong Kong. By strengthening local digital infrastructure, fostering the growth of local IT industry, and facilitating closer collaboration with the Chinese Mainland on the digital connectivity and data exchange, she helps lay a solid foundation for accelerating the development of digital economy. In addition, she oversees and implements policies and measures relating to project governance and cybersecurity of government IT systems. With over 30 years of professional experience in the IT field, her expertise has been instrumental in advancing Hong Kong’s digital landscape.
