The Eighteenth Annual General Meeting of Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited
Hong Kong, 15 May 2020 – The Eighteenth Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC) was held successfully today. One director was newly elected by the Demand Class members, and one director was re-elected by the Supply Class members at the AGM.
The Board of HKIRC consists of eight independent non-executive directors, four appointed by the HKSAR Government, two elected by members of the Demand Class, and two elected by members of the Supply Class respectively.
Prof. Erwin HUANG and Mr. Gabriel PANG Tsz Kit retired by rotation at the AGM. Mr. CHAN Tik Yuen is the sole candidate standing for election in the Demand Class, while Mr. Gabriel PANG Tsz Kit is eligible to stand for re-election, and he is the sole candidate of the Supply Class. No voting was required for both Classes and both candidates were automatically elected.
