HKIRC’s Media Statement on HKIRC Membership and Board Election

Following the recent interest in HKIRC membership and board election, HKIRC would like to reiterate that we have an established and thorough procedure to verify member registration data, which has been in place over the years to ensure member information accuracy. Each domain name holder has equal opportunity to become a member of the HKIRC. To become a member of the HKIRC, the applicant should hold a valid .hk domain name.
Should there be any queries or disputes over HKIRC membership eligibility, registration details, etc., HKIRC would conduct thorough investigation on the matter.
