HKIRC attended the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the “No Fakes Pledge” Scheme cum Long-term Members Commendation Ceremony
This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Intellectual Property Department’s (IPD) “No Fakes Pledge” Scheme. HKIRC recently attended the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the “No Fakes Pledge” Scheme cum Long-term Members Commendation Ceremony as a supporting organization to show its support for the program; a commemorative trophy was presented by the IDP, which was accepted by Ir Wilson Wong, CEO of HKIRC.
The schem has been successfully promoting the message of respecting intellectual property rights to the industry over the past many years, building Hong Kong into a regional intellectual property trading center, and maintaining the good reputation of Hong Kong brands. The Director of Intellectual Property, Mr David Wong, also said in his speech at the ceremony that the scheme is an important part of a sound intellectual property protection system and also lays a solid foundation for building Hong Kong into a regional intellectual property trading center. In the future, we will also step up the promotion of the “”No Fakes Pledge” scheme to consumers and tourists to increase their awareness of the program and consolidate Hong Kong’s reputation as a “shopping paradise.”
The reliability of Hong Kong product which established by the “No Fakes Pledge” Scheme is consistent with the advocacy of HKIRC, which has been sparing no effort to promote the online identity of “.hk” domain names and build high-quality Hong Kong brands. We look forward to conducting more cooperation projects in the future to deepen the promotion of Hong Kong brands and jointly contribute to telling the story of Hong Kong.
