In the digital age of the popularization of smart technology, SMEs often fail to provide comprehensive protection for the company’s network due to limited resources, and at the same time, lack of training for employees in relevant aspects, making them easy to fall victim to cyber attacks. According to several cybersecurity research reports, SMEs are three times more likely to be attacked by cyberattacks than large corporations. In view of this, Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC) has joined hands with different industry leaders to organize a series of activities to focus on the current cybersecurity boom, with the main objective of enhancing the knowledge and skills of the industry and the public to promote cybersecurity. We hope to promote cybersecurity education and talent development online to facilitate the industry’s development in the long run.
