The Sixteenth Annual General Meeting of Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited
Hong Kong, 17 May 2018 – The Sixteenth Annual General Meeting (AGM) of Hong Kong Internet Registration Corporation Limited (HKIRC) was held successfully today. One Director was newly elected by the Demand Class at the AGM.
The Board of Directors of HKIRC consists of eight independent non-executive directors, four appointed by the Government, two elected by members of the Demand Class, and two elected by members of the Supply Class.
Ms Ping WONG, representing the Demand Class, is retired by rotation at the AGM. There were two candidates standing for election for the Demand Class. Election for the Demand Class was conducted by voting via email or post in advance, or on-site voting during the AGM. The composition of the Board of Directors for Year 2018 is as follows:
